Early Career Health Scientist Positions
Aetia Scientific Collaborative (AetiaSci) is looking for motivated early-career Health Scientists to join our technical practice in Boulder, Colorado. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team engaged in evaluating human health risks associated with chemical exposures in occupational, environmental, and consumer product contexts. This position is well-suited for individuals with a strong scientific background who are seeking to apply their expertise in a non-laboratory or non-clinical setting. The role involves interdisciplinary work across toxicology, exposure science, and epidemiology to support the development of scientifically grounded, practical solutions in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Work opportunities are available in our office located in Boulder, Colorado.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contribute to the preparation of technical work products, presentations, and proposals
Critically evaluate and summarize scientific literature on environmental and occupational health topics
Conduct scientific research and data analysis to support human health risk assessments related to chemical, occupational, and environmental exposures
Participate in client meetings, calls, and communications as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Help manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced consulting environment
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in toxicology, occupational and environmental health sciences, industrial hygiene, or related discipline.
Educational or practical experience in the application of risk assessment is a plus, but not required
A record of publishing scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals or relevant technical publications is highly desirable, but not required
Experience with the EndNote reference manager software preferred, but not required
Strong technical writing and communication skills for diverse audiences
Current and future U.S. work authorization is required
Compensation and Benefits:
AetiaSci offers a competitive benefits package, including, but not limited to, medical, dental, and vision insurance; short-term and long-term disability insurance; life insurance; generous 401(k) program with employer matching; paid time off including sick leave; and performance bonuses.
The annual salary range is dependent on experience and capabilities which will be assessed during the interview process: $75,000-$95,000, annually.

Administrative Assistant Position
Aetia Scientific Collaborative (AetiaSci) is looking for a highly organized, proactive Administrative Assistant to support our growing scientific consulting firm. This part-time position will provide administrative and operational support to our team of scientists and project staff. The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working collaboratively, keeping things organized, managing details, and helping a team do its best work.
We are a close-knit, highly collaborative office where people genuinely enjoy working together. This is a part-time, in-office position based in Boulder, Colorado. Remote or hybrid work is not available for this position. Specific days and hours will be determined based on the needs of the team and the candidate's availability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Office Administration
· Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and deliveries
· Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships
· Coordinate conference rooms, catering, and office logistics
· Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
· Assist with facilities coordination and general office upkeep
Administrative Support
· Prepare meeting materials and other documents
· Conduct literature searches and retrieval tasks
· Track action items and follow up on administrative requests
· Support onboarding activities for new employees
Project Support
· Create and maintain project files and standardized documentation
· Assist with document organization and version control
· Prepare materials for meetings, depositions, and client deliverables
· Help track project deadlines and administrative milestones
· Perform data entry and quality checks on project information
Financial & Operational Support
· Assist with invoice preparation and administrative billing tasks
· Organize receipts, purchase records, and vendor documentation
· Maintain internal tracking spreadsheets and reports
· Support event planning, training logistics, and company meetings
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 3+ years of administrative or office support experience
· Exceptional organizational and time management skills
· Strong written and verbal communication abilities
· High attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
· Professional judgment and discretion when handling confidential information
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
· Experience with project management or accounting software is a plus; BQE experience is a bonus

The hourly salary range for this part-time position is $22.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and capabilities, which will be assessed during the interview process.
AetiaSci offers eligible part-time employees prorated paid time off and sick leave, as well as participation in the company's 401(k) program. Additional benefits may be available depending on scheduled hours and eligibility.
